About this movie

When Hunter (Nadji Jeter) gets sent to a dorky summer dance camp, he thinks he's about to have the worst summer of his life. But the quirky charm of the camp grows on him when he meets the passionate Cheyenne (Meg DeAngelis) and joins her dance troupe to challenge the arrogant champion Lance (Jake Paul) in the camp’s Legends of Dance competition.

Really another movie where young black girls aren't fully represented. The movie showcases part of a black culture, hip hop dance, but takes out parts that help define the dance style, the black girl. It's like me watching a movie about horse back riding competitions and the entire cast is black, asian, and Latino with only one white actor. Sucks.

I watched this on YouTube Red and it was garbage. I only made it 20 minutes in before I turned it off. I didn't even know it was a comedy until now. That being said:The acting was abysmal, the dancing was mediocre at best and the villain of the movie was super generic. Also none of the subplots either make sense or lead anywhere. Save your money and watch one of the 30 Step up sequels and spin offs. At least those movies have somewhat decent dancing. Alright now I'm just trying to fill the 100 word quota so this review has a "better" chance of being deemed helpful. Now i'm over the quota crap better wrap this up. The movie sucked and YouTube Red should be cancelled.

This is odd that a dance movie has hardly any black people in it. All the non black dancers are doing black dance styles looking awkward as hell.. It was odd to watch and unrealistic.... Fail.
