It, a good Kaiju film. It's, got a lot of atmosphere from cinematography to musical score. It's 'Kwaidan', meets Kurosawa, meets Ishiro Honda. I, viewed it relatively recently and found it refreshing since I had practically seen everything made in the genre already. You could say it's almost more believable than your average Kaiju film since, it's a straight up supernatural period piece and, you don't have to 'suspend your disbelief' as much with regards to wacky aliens or, technology.
