Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg face off in the ultimate Dad vs. Step-Dad showdown! Brad (Ferrell), who always dreamed of having the perfect family, is determined to become the best step-dad to his new wife's (Linda Cardellini) children. The film is highly enjoyable and the actors have comedic chemistry, but the story is boring and unoriginal, (most comedy films have his issue) and some parts are unnecessary and were thrown in for the sake of it. Too predictable and John Cena was awful..

I love Will Farrell but this film was such a dud. It had about 2 funny scenes the rest was like awkward comedy. Mark Wahlberg was actually really annoying in this and I usually like him. Also the children acting was really bad. Give it a miss.

We watched this as a family, including two teenagers. It's rare to find something we all want to watch but this had each of us chuckling throughout.
