Jus to let other people know superman does not infact die in the end of this. Based on the comics and the dc one million story arc he infact stayed in the sun for 10,000 years and emerged completely gold and now invincible to even kryptonite and magic. He brought lois back from the dead as a god basically. He also creates his own universe and watches over it as god for eternity. Superman never dies he only becomes greater when he returns. I suggest you guys read the dc one million story line to see what happens when superman emerges from the sun.

This Superman movie shows the Man of Steel in a unique way that brings depth & dynamics to the character. While being good sub plots in themselves, these sub plots distract from the main plot making the movie feel unfocused at times. The writing of Lex Luthor in this movie is some of the best I've seen. He is genius, evil, & menacing. Overall, a great Superman experience the whole family can enjoy.

@Chris slayer guess you never read the book all star superman was a non-cannon graphic novel... So you complaining about not staying true to the mythos is a complaint made in ignorance. And rating it low on those grounds seems silly unless you didn't like it at all... All star superman was one of the most influential novels for the comic book series it gave writer's the balls to produce story's like the death of superman. It's not cannon but it is some of the best writing and character development dc's done
