About this movie

Academy Award(R) winner Denzel Washington (Best Actor) joins forces with blockbuster producer Jerry Bruckheimer and mega-hit director Tony Scott for DEJA VU -- the powerful, fast-paced action-thriller with a spectacular mind-bending twist. Called in to recover evidence in the aftermath of a horrific explosion on a New Orleans ferry, Federal agent Doug Carlin (Washington) gets pulled away from the scene and taken to a top-secret government lab that uses a time-shifting surveillance device to help prevent crime. But can it help Carlin change the past? Hold on to your seat for an explosive and intriguing thrill ride you'll want to experience again and again.

I am sick of love of family and deep seated grievance posing as patriotism. That's the ethos of these folks. It's everywhere you look. They're largely inarticulate and ALL of them are engaged in criminal activity. But their "love" of family is somehow supposed to make them romantic heroes. And Hollywood is selling this worldview. That's the John Caveziel character in this flick, which is dolled up with tricky physics to make it clever. So I watched it. But I'm sick of the genre so I have learn to identify it in advance.

¡disfrutar!

I really enjoyed this movie, even though I got mixed at times, but I ache for the day he plays Jesus Christ, as Denzel could pull it off, as I believe he understands where other movies have failed. I only Wish I knew Denzel, but at 70 years of age, I've messed up again reviewing this movie. If Denzel reads this (right?) I want to say, "Hey dude" I love you. No, I really do Denzel. Ain't any person on earth that would like you as a buddy, and Why? Coolness radiates from you. Your special
