Crossing Delancey (1988)

Ah, the era of romantic comedies with extensive character development, not always a "white wedding ending", and insights into the American Jewish experience back then. Great film with witty dialogue.

So many facets of this movie touch upon my family's experience in America and becoming American Jews. Each character has a parallel family member. The lesson is to live within your own identity.
