About this movie

Screaming through the Nevada desert in a bullet-ridden Crown Vic, wily con artist Teddy Murretto (Frank Grillo) hatches a desperate plan to hide out from lethal hitman Bob Viddick (Gerard Butler): He sucker-punches rookie officer Valerie Young (Alexis Louder) to get himself arrested and locked up in a small-town police station. But jail can't protect Murretto for long. Viddick schemes his own way into detention, biding his time in a nearby cell until he can complete his mission. When the arrival of a competing assassin (Toby Huss) ignites all-out mayhem, mounting threats force Viddick to get creative if he wants to finish the job and escape the explosive situation.

As entertainment, it's great. My best short description would be Assault on Precinct 13 if Quentin Tarantino wrote it. As art, not so much, but usually art is boring as hades and you pray to God to get that time back.

I was intrigued & amused by most characters. Freddie was the real bad guy, because he turned on anyone who trusted him, & the ending was refreshingly entertaining. Over all it was a worthy distraction, and a cool portrayal of betrayal.

The movie is a must watch... It brings a different narrative to what we are used to. It does so we'll of not giving you the slightest clue of who's good or bad and the action sequences are great. Performances and language accents were very convincing and puts you on the edge of your seat. Recommend this for a different feel.
