About this movie

A dramatic thriller based on the incredible true David vs. Goliath story of American immigrant Dr. Bennet Omalu, the brilliant forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a football-related brain trauma, in a pro player and fought for the truth to be known. Omalu’s emotional quest puts him at dangerous odds with one of the most powerful – and beloved – institutions in the world. (c) null 2015 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. LSC Film Corporation. The movie sent a meaningful message to the audience, showed a pathologist with passion in science and responsibility to the society. I expected it to end in another way where Dr. Omalu fought to win, not surrendered in 3 years to protect his family and his success suddenly came after another football player committed suicide. However, this movie is based on a true story, life is tough and human-beings are not angels, so it is beautifully realistic when it reflects the truth. One boring thing I didn't like is that everyone was murmuring for the whole movie.

Good movie, don't let low rating put you off as the topic is highly contentious in US. When you watch it you will understand. I loved it, worth the time. I found it quite compelling.

Loved every second of it. The way it was put together and the story behind what's really going on in contact sports all over the world. I'm glass they made a movie to help bring awareness to it.
