Color Out Of Space

This movie was very promising but an overall big let down. The acting is mediocre at the best of times. The story is very poorly told and the scenes don't seem to flow into each other. Almost like it was put together in the editing room without a concrete vision for the final product. It's not terrible but it's not particularly good either. A couple decent scenes in an otherwise blah experience.

As a long time fan of H.P Lovecraft's literature, this movie feels like it truely captures the essence of what cosmic horror is. We are not meant to understand everything. Nicholas Cage's maniacal edge really fits perfectly for his role. Great movie even if you are not into Lovecraft but a must see if you are a fan.

Cage is at it again,right from the very first seen on the porch you wonder if he has forgotten how to relax his face or how to speak naturally,the over acting is packed into every second and ruins any chance of this movie being more then mediocre.
