About this movie

Vincent (Tom Cruise) is a cool, calculating, contract killer at the top of his game. Max (Jamie Foxx) is a hapless cabbie with big dreams and little to show for it. Now, Max has to transport Vincent on his next job -- one night, five stops, five hits and a getaway. And after this fateful night, neither man will ever be the same again. Tonight everything is changing... Acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs a powerhouse cast that also includes Jada Pinkett Smith in this stylish thriller that critics call "A Pure Adrenaline Rush" (Access Hollywood).

This movie is classic Mike Mann at his best. All the actors on point and really giving a sense of realism to a fantasy. The plot engaging and engrossing from start to finish. Rooted for Foxx to get though the night that probably will scar him for life maybe it will. Thomas stole the whole movie. Never have I seen him so methodical. Each and every scene with him had depth and scary truths he reveled to his driver and us. The look is his hottest to date to this day. They could have gave him an Oscar nod.

Michael Mann has done a great job by the selective cast he has taken in this film of morality and depravity. The idea having to choose between right and wrong can be very difficult between a life and death situation

I saw this when it came out at the theater and really didn't want too as I like TC a lot and knowing he was playing a bad guy put me off watching it. But, I saw it and loved it. It's a good movie.
