Cold In July

Cold In July is one of those films that lingers in your subconscious after viewing it, it's a flawless masterpiece and shows the ramifications of violent acts. Why is this film so special? Michael C. Hall plays a man named Richard Dane who confronts an intruder in his home at night, after that fateful night his life spirals out of control. The film deals with violence in an adult and subtle way, it shows the audience that violence isn't the answer; one of my favourite things in this film is how human each character is which gives the characters a three-dimensional quality to them. I highly recommend this film because it's a flawless masterpiece.
