About this movie

Prepare to enter another world when Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media present C.S. Lewis' timeless and beloved adventure. With the stunningly realistic special effects, you'll experience the exploits of Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter, four siblings who find the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of "hide-and-seek" at the country estate of a mysterious professor. Once there, the children discover a charming, once peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs, and giants that has been turned into a world of eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Aided by the wise and magnificent lion Aslan, the children lead Narnia into a spectacular climactic battle to be free of the Witch's glacial powers forever!

A solid take on the material. Not quite as enjoyable as the book, but keeps just enough of the magic and mystery while not shying away from its Christian themes. Over all, an enjoyable step through the wardrobe.

This movie should be rated PG13. Way too scary for kids. In fact my kids had nightmares for weeks. Very bad rating. Plus the movie had very bad language which is not suitable for kids. It also has very scary scenes in which people die. Do not watch at all!

Out of all the Narnia films, this one is the best one EVER!!! It follows the book really well and has great cinematography and artistic settings. Loved hearing Liam Neeson in the role of Aslan, who I thought was perfect. And Tilda Swinton delivered a nasty villain in the White Witch who nails the role in every way. C.S. Lewis' epic story brings everything that the book did to the screen and it was done perfectly.
