Children of Men

What a mess. Michael Caine - who I truly dislike when he was younger -saves this miserable hotch podge and at least provided a bright spot or two to the (mostly) wooden acting

I was really disappointed by this flim. Rotten Tommatos gives it 93 but I would rate it at 60. It was okay but nothing to write home about. I think my having high expectations made things even worse.

Very different to the source material but brilliantly realised, gritty, probably one of the best visualised visions of the future, up there with Bladerunner. One of Clive Owen's best IMHO.
