I am an Al Pacino fanatic and this one takes the cake. That scene with the all black at the cookout and those shades?! He looked so fine, had to take a picture and use it as my screensaver. Wish he hadn't died though. Damn you Billy Blanco from the Bronx!

Why is it that Pacino makes such a great gangster? Yes, he was fantastic in the Godfather movies and Scarface, but this is my favorite. Sean Penn also knocks it out of the park as his slimy lawyer. Great ending!

This is a classic, Pacino is always into greatness. This is a homerun especially if you understand Puerto Rican culture on the mainland. Very valid movie. John became a star from this movie. If you understand stand the streets of NYC, you'll get this. A hidden mafia flick set in the real world. Gangsters are not just Italian.
