About this movie

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. I know. Everyone loves Iron Man because Stark brings the snark. But this movie was fantastic. It was a complex, action packed spy thriller …that just happened to contain a supersoldier from the 1940s. I loved that characters like Black Widow and Nick Fury finally got their due without sacrificing Steve Rogers. Sam Wilson's intro was superb and the Winter Soldier was well done. I look forward to more Cap!

seriously, i can't even put into words how incredible this movie. this film left me in tears at the end. seriously, it's just amazing. the Russo brothers are one of the greatest directors to walk the face of this earth. sebastian stan... wow. he destroyed his role in this film. he seriously got into character this whole movie. there was unexpected deaths, renata's death shocked me the most. this movie is so much better than the first avenger. i have seen this movie at least 20 times.

It's the best MCU film of all time and just might be the best forever. I have little issues with this film and honestly I've rewatch it a lot of times. The actions sequences are amazing without a doubt. There is some shaky cam in it but they pretty much know what they're doing. It isn't incomprehensible. The jokes are surprisingly well balanced. It takes a more serious tone compared to most MCU films and I'm happy about that.
