Candyman (1992)

Fantastic movie, wonderful atmospheric, dark gothic horror with the one and only Tony Todd. One of my favourite movies of all time... this will haunt you long after you've finished watching. The new 2021 Candyman is really good too, lots of similarity between the two - I loved it in the cinema and it's a worthy "sequel" to this one. Highly recommended watching after this!!

This will remain one of my favourite horror films, Tony Todd will always remain the "Candyman", his voice is just haunting in this film. Nothing terrifies me more and I'll never say his name 5 times, best way to freak me out. This film, the original, is so much more iconic than the new version, although an interesting attempt to reboot it. 2 and 3 are also worth a watch for more details on his origin.

Easily the scariest movie I've ever seen. I've watched nearly every major horror film but Candyman... nope. I'm 37 & still won't say his name in the mirror lol
