By the Grace of God

I never thought I'd be a movie critic... "By the Grace of God" is a must see! It's finally on all the streaming services. I grew up speaking French and Latin, but lost most of it. I forgot to turn on the English subtitles, and my French came back to me! It did indeed, but I was still skeptical. Half-way through the movie, as an experiment, I completely turned off the volume, and my hunch was right - I already knew the story. Trigger alert: There is some brief nudity, but adult nudity in an appropriate setting. Sorry for speaking English. Je n'aurais jamais pense etre critique de cinema ... "Par la Grace de Dieu" est un incontournable! C'est enfin sur tous les services de streaming. J'ai grandi en parlant le francais et le latin, mais j'en ai perdu la majeure partie. J'ai oublie d'activer les sous-titres anglais et mon francais m'est revenu! Oui, mais j'etais encore sceptique. A mi-chemin du film, a titre experimental, j'ai completement coupe le volume et mon intuition etait bonne - je connaissais deja l'histoire. Alerte de declenchement: il y a de la nudite breve, mais de la nudite adulte dans un cadre approprie.
