I would have given this film a higher rating but when he got to Berlin there were large sections in German which were not subtitle. It's just not on to do films in more than one language and not translate the second language. If I didn't need to understand what was being said you could just have them mouth the words in English to and not provide a soundtrack at all. Then I could just guess at what the actors are saying. I despise this kind of nonsense. Don't write lines, have them said in a foreign language and then expect your audience to appreciate that.

Bridge of Spies Is Made By Steven Spielberg Who Made Such Classics As War Horse And Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull After That This Is What He Gives Us A Spy Movie With Action It Doesn't Have To Be Intense Or Have CGI It Just Has To Be Exciting And It Has The Coen Brothers Involved

Not bond, borne or le carrier' so dont expect that type of film. Hanks is great, humerous where appropriate, but a serious, believable character. It goes beyond the espionage to the politics and humanity of the world in the fear filled early 1960s, but from a very personal perspective. Great supporting cast also that engages the viewer. A true story well told!
