About this movie

With his trademark charm and biting wit, award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore sets off on a rollicking journey to the heart of America, hoping to discover why the American pursuit of happiness is so riddled with mass violence. Moore boldly asks a question that post September 11, no other American dare ask: Are we a nation of gun nuts - or are we just nuts? For Americans, it is a damningly funny indictment of a culture of fear that is armed to the teeth and running amuck. For everyone else, it is a humorous warning about what could happen to any country that chooses the American Way of creating a massive permanent underclass that must be fought off with a constitutionally-protected Uzi. © 2002 Iconolatry Productions Inc., an Alliance Atlantis Company and VIF Babelsberger Filmproduktion GmbH & Co. Awesome documentary with Michael Moore's knowledge & insight. A disturbing look at America's fascination with gun culture, bullying and the education system - thought provoking & extremely respectful to the victims that tragically died on that fateful day. Highly emotional so have your tissues handy. My heart goes out to the families of those who passed, I can't imagine what I'd do if this was my son, it's terrifying. God bless you all, grant them peace.🙏

This is by far an objective documentary. It is far-left propaganda by a man who's political ideology is even uglier than he is. Don't take my word for it - find out for yourself by looking up critiques of Moore, in particular essays by Christopher Hitchens. All available online for free via a quick Google search.

Whether you love or loathe Michael Moore, there's no denying that this was an important film at the time, which made him even more internationally known. Of course, he puts his own spin on things, but at least he the facts out for people to make up their own mind.
