Bleeding Steel

A weird mix of children's film with adult, gratuitous, violence. The big gunfight at the beginning could have been a much smaller fight and been more believable for it, but the team behind this have gone into it with the idea that bigger is better. Which means we never know how the sides bankroll their million or billion dollar enterprises. Nor how the baddy can fly around in a spaceship within Earth's atmosphere, without it being spotted by world authorities. The basic science is daft, the English dialogue is full of moments where characters have to speak reams of exposition, the mystery young guy is never explained. Occasional interesting action scenes, spoilt by their desire to Bond them up for no reason. I could go on.

Jackie Chan is doing what he does best, his fights by throwing himself around a little. Usual plot got to save someone fighting along the way. But this was made better by Mr Chan, Leeson and Nancy. Good stunts by people and cars

was awful and predictable but its jackie chan so automatic 5 star !
