Extremely dissatisfied with this one. Drags out a story that just isn't interesting. Was waiting for an aha moment or for something to be revealed but the movie just plods along with poor old gosling looking like a stunned mullet most of the time. Felt like there was really nothing new that hadn't already been done. This was one I thought would be a hit when it came out but just fizzled out. Don't waste your time e on this one. Watch the first one again instead.

No story line just a bunch of little life details supposedly resembling a story line and then finally the big ending is revealed...except this is where the movie should have started. What a waste of everyone's time. And while we are talking time....it drags...it is so slow in the beginning I struggled to stay awake. Obviously Harrison's career is over but I wonder if we will look back and see this as the beginning of the end of Ryan Goslings career too.

Similar to the original but with less mystery and an already seen it before vibe. No longer a ground breaking premise. Was looking forward to some evolution in the subject matter not an aged rehash. The most prolific sci fi writers knew not to get too comfortable and to keep pushing the boundaries, sadly this isnt seen here. Pardon the pun - but Gosling is far too generic in this. I can appreciate that was the scope of the role but he could have made it his own with more intrigue, I wanted to keep guessing and theorizing. Sadly no groundbreaking elements were introduced by the director. A flat replicant is expected and I was looking forward to more variables introduced to the original narrative. Darn. Just stale. Sci fi made us think growing up, we read and watched in amazement at the possibilities in an almost philosophical fashion - is everyone in the industry out of ideas already? This cant be it. How I long for the good old days, those old days were far more progressive, forward thinking and inquisitive despite the technological limitations.
