About this movie

Killer whales are beloved, majestic, friendly giants, yet infamous for their capacity to kill viciously. Blackfish unravels the complexities of this dichotomy, employing the story of the notorious performing whale Tilikum, who — unlike any orca in the wild — has taken the lives of several people while in captivity. Blackfish expands on the discussion of keeping such intelligent creatures in captivity.

You people are fools. U have no clue the good that Sea World has done to educate children and adults alike. Through their efforts they have given millions the opportunity to experience the wonders of sea life who wouldn't otherwise never have the chance to do so. If it makes u feel good to hate on Sea World that's fine but they have done more to bring awareness to the plight of ocean life then you could ever imagine. Just because it's labeled a documentary it doesn't mean that it's all true. Smarten up!

I'm giving this movie 1 star because: 1. SeaWorld is a GREAT place that has rescued over 35,000 animals. 2. This "documentary" is paid for by PETA. PETA has euthanized perfectly healthy animals. 3. One of the former "trainers" never worked with killer whales. 4. Another former "trainer" was caught kicking an animal. just my opinion, but please, be educated not Blackfished if you're going to be an anti cap.

This film was extremely emotionally manipulative and edited to bring the viewer to the conclusion desired by the crew, leaving no room for independent thought. The animal rights organization PETA endorses the film. That right there told me plenty before I watched it. Independent research proved the film wrong on many counts. This is not a documentary. It's nothing better than a persuasive essay with poorly backed up claims. SW doesn't pay me. I don't need go get paid to think.
