About this movie

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends -to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe. Bill & Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest), from a screenplay by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey) -and produced by Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici, and Steve Ponce.

Tough one this. It's definitely watchable and far from terrible. The main 2 are OK (Winter is a tad better than Reeves in this imho). It's just the daughters are really annoying (especially Ted's). Other than that, it's not bad. Certainly has some funny moments and plenty of nostalgia which is good for a fan of the first two. A very generous 4/5 (more 3.5/5) as it knows it's a daft film and plays to it. I wouldn't buy for full price, either wait for sale or use 99p rental offer like I did.

Absolutely garbage I loved the first two as cheesy as they were but it was the 80s / 90s and it's the kind of stuff we grew up on. They had 30 years to come up with an amazing story and yet somehow failed. Can't fault the graphics but even a Netflix series has great graphics in today's world... We've been amazed with how movie magic has advanced over the years but at this point in time I want to see an amazing story line. This was far from it. Just seemed like a rushed job to finish a franchise.

As a big fan of the two original films I was excited but apprehensive about this third movie. I'm pleased to report that this film hits all the right notes. The new members to the cast work so well, and the older cast just snap right back into thier roles. This won't be for everyone, if you've never heard of the first two movies you won't get this one. But for those of us who grew up with them, who are also middle age parents then this movie is for you in so many ways.
