About this movie

The story revolves around a dying father (played by Finney, and McGregor as a young man) and his son (Crudup). Trying to learn more about his dad by piecing together the stories he has gathered over the years, the son winds up re-creating his father's elusive life in a series of legends and myths inspired by the few facts he knows. Through these tales, the son begins to understand his father's great feats and his great failings. ยฉ 2003 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

This is easily one of the best movies I have ever seen. Everything about it is just so great that I cannot begin to describe it. I have never really cried at a movie, but this movie had me choking up for almost the whole ending, and a good 20 minutes after. Not out of sadness, but because it was such a happy and great, amazing, fantastic story! You should 100% definitley watch this movie or you're missing out!!!

Sometimes what annoys us the most about our parent, is what we find out we love them the most for. Their quirkyness, imagination and those little white lies (tall tales) and thier failings. I love this movie bevause its sweet, their journey made me cry. My mom was a big fish too, a "story teller"
