At a carnival, young Josh Baskin (Tom Hanks) wishes he was big -- only to awake the next morning and discover he is! With the help of his friend Billy, Josh lands a job at a toy company. but the more he experiences being an adult, the more Josh longs for the simple joys of childhood.

Wonderfully genuine film about an absurd premise. Tom Hanks is a rare talent able to portray a child living as a man. If you haven't seen it, watch it. If you have, make some popcorn and relive the magic.

Exceptional exploration of weird premise, with very fleshed-out performances by Tom Hanks, Mercedes Ruehl and Elizabeth Perkins. Very New York-y. Evokes an indelible feeling of nostalgia.

As a kid, I watched and re-watched this movie to the point of brainwash and I liked it a lot. Thank you Google to make me relive this 80s classic for free!
