Ben-Hur is a magnificent epic. The chariot race still impresses but the sheer size of the film is matched by legend William Wyler's splendid direction, Miklos Rosza's memorable score and a great cast. A special nod should be given to Andrew Marton who was the 2nd unit director during the chariot race (future Spaghetti western director Sergio Leone was involved too). Winner of 11 Academy Awards, Ben-Hur is a delight from start to finish and not to be missed.
