Becoming Jane

Becoming Jane introduces us to a 20 year old Jane Austen (Anne Hathaway - highly unconventional and perilously close to old-maid status by 18th century England standards. We also meet many of the people in her world that would later shape characters in her celebrated novels. Among them is roguish Irishman, Tom Lefroy (James McAvoy), the man with whom she has a passionate but unapproved love affair.
