Fun fact I did not know til after I saw it every actor in this film was there at Bastogne in 1944. Great movie, actual have heard of some of these guys because my grandpa served with them in WWII.

Best time shortly after war when memories and plot and character develooment paramount. Also sexy funny part with concerned soldier worried about buxom lady carving bread, so close into her breasts!🤔😁😉

Such a great WWll film. It reminds me of a newer black and white film, one made around now, that captures the emotions of war, and that is what it does. It also maybe leans into being more of a documentary. It captures the emotions perfect through the perfect black and white. It's a classic, a classic must see.
