I have been a fan of Batman ever since I was born, and even watched the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back during the 90s era. But when I first heard the comics were coming together for a awesome series run. I was thrilled and excited to read the comic books of the turtles and the Batman teaming up. And now this movie came about and I was SUPER excited big time. The animation was good, the story was good, and the characters are just awesome all together. The voice actors did a wonderful of job portraying the characters and gave us a good movie to watch. So to all the TMNT and Batman fans out there, I recommend this movie big time ^^

Just for the record, this is not a movie for children. People get killed in it, and the violence in general is way over the top for what is mostly popularized as children's properties. As a 40-year old man who grew up loving both character sets in this film, I am already disgusted by their portrayal within the first 15 minutes. It seems to me that PG-13 is a little light, the bloody ninja star through the head pushes it to an R for me. This isn't why I purchased this movie.

A bit silly for a Batman movie, but at the same time a bit serious for a Turtles movie. I think that's why people shouldn't try to view it as simply one or the other, and look at it as just a Crossover. This isn't a movie where you *can* look at it as just Batman guest-starring the Turtles, or the Turtles guest-starring Batman. I don't think it was meant to be viewed like that. As for the art-style, I've seen people criticizing it for being "lazy", but it's really not. It looks to me like it's supposed to simply give a nod to the more simplistic designs of Batman the Animated Series, with some slight updates for a more modern look. As for the plot...well, what can you really do when both sides come from shows where the central plot for each episode or movie is "villain is enacting evil plan to conquer/destroy the city and heroes must save the day"? Granted we don't get to see as much of the Detective side of Batman, but then that might have downplayed the Turtles a little bit, so it's understandable why it's more of a cliche action plot. As far as the characters, the personalities are pretty much what we've come to expect from each over the years, and while I would have enjoyed seeing a bit more back-and-forth between Shredder and R'as, I'm just glad that everyone was written more or less how they should be. Overall, I'd have to say this is a great movie. It's not perfect, but it was incredibly enjoyable, or at least I certainly thought so.
