About this movie

From director Zack Snyder comes “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

First they need a better actor to play Lex Luther (Gene Hackman perfected the role!). Flashbacks added nothing...no I do not buy the "they set up future films" since I prefer when directors make the current film great vs. trying to make me think about a sequel. Some really loopy dialogue at times. Action scenes were the only interesting part.

Man of Steel was great - I loved it even more than I did the classic Superman movies (and before, to me there was no Superman like Reeves, so that says a lot). But this could've been done better. I think part of it is that it seems too weird that they're changing all the actors out except for the ones from 'Man of Steel' - like, one of the reasons why I was ever even remotely excited about this movie coming out was because I thought that it would also be a continuation of "The Dark Knight" or the the Arrowverse TV Shows. I mean, come on, I know this isn't Avengers, but a big part of what made them so famous is because they tied all those other movies together. They didn't just make another random remake, except in the case of Spider-Man. The only superheroes here that I really liked were Cavill as Superman and Wonder Woman. I liked Amy Adams as Lois, too. But the rest . . . you could've done better. That's my first complaint. The other one is the name: it should've been simply named "Dawn of Justice" or something just a little more creative and less pathetic.

Batman is not dark and never was in the comic world! I hate it when movie moguls turn a kid's role model of good deeds into a dark character just to make him or her appear more like the real world! Superheroes and comic characters are not the real world and kids need more heroes real or not, ones to follow and look up to. Archenemies are the bad guys, not the good guys who decide to emulate the bad ones out of a twisted way of thinking. This Batman was not the one I grew up with...
