About this movie

From director Zack Snyder comes "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters' first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

The plot is backwards and cartoonish. Superman is represented poorly. Lex Luthor is nothing but a Saturday morning cartoon villain and his plan, as well as his motive, doesn't make sense. Wonder Woman is thrown in just for fan service. And the film jams in so many characters and DC references and easter eggs; in a vain attempt to get the DC Universe movie building out more faster than Marvel did. Ben Affleck is awesome as Batman in the film, despite his character's psychopathic and murderous attributes.

What makes the film so disappointing firstly is Jesse Eisenberg's take on Lex Luthor, it is probably one of the worst miscasts in recent films. Eisenberg only knows how to act one way and the self obsessed, neurotic, obnoxiously insane man-child is boring and completely out of place for the character Lex Luthor in the DC universe. With Lex's only motivation him being crazy. The plot could have been so much better and let's this film down badly.

The Trailer's and TV Spots got me really excited for seeing the film. Thinking it was gonna be 1 of the best movies of the year. Personally I found it a waste of money...Wonder Woman had like only 10 minutes through out the movie which was a disappointment and then the ending personally I felt was terrible. It felt like the writers just wanted to bring the story to a close quickly... Not worth paying £9.99 or £13.99. Wait for the price to drop. The film was just totally over rated.
