About this movie

What does it take for a person to snap? How much despair for a mind to fracture? These are the twisted questions that The Joker has set out to answer, to show Gotham that even an ordinary man like Commissioner Gordon is only one bad day away from sheer insanity. Based on the acclaimed DC Comics graphic novel, witness a journey into the dark psyche of the Clown Prince of Crime. Follow his humble beginnings as a struggling comic to his fateful encounter with the Dark Knight that changed everything. Fueled by the return of Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker, witness the birth of a super villain, the fortitude of a hero and the punch line that you will leave you speechless.

This film was a good film but the thought of jokers life is sickening, but really after you just feel sorry for joker (his wife and baby dying, him falling in the acid, etc.) Although the story of the film about the joker, Batman and batgirl, together? You got to be kidding? That's why it got such bad ratings because it is so messed up in many ways. However the story just explains how much Joker is messed up in his crazy mind and how his brain changed from a depressed husband, to a crazy murdering clown who takes everything for a joke.

Hate to say it, but massively disappointed! Maybe i was expecting too much, like fully explored character development, dark and sinister and a proper story with depth - the things that made me fall in love with the DC universe and Batman and associated characters in the first place.. A man on the edge of becoming what he fights against................. It was over before it started, had no build up, no suspense and failed to draw me in at all. Imagine explaining the plot of a film in two sentences but that explanation actually being able to cover the entire plot. Thats it, there just isnt anything there!

I thought it was good, it wasn't as good as i expected. But I don't really know why because besides all the batgirl scenes in the first half hour it was basically the exact same as in the graphic novel. I feel as if there was nothing they really could have done that would have lived up to the expectations for a movie based on such an iconic graphic novel
