Barry Lyndon persists to be one of the most enthralling artistic pieces of all time. A moving painting in every frame and a Citizen Kane style story of rags to riches to rags again, Barry Lyndon plays out to be one of Kubrick's finest perfections.

Its a different type of Kubrick movie. A cinematic masterpiece. It was shot to almost look like artwork. The story has some issues, but I tend to focus on how it was shot. If you're looking for a action adventure movie, probably not the best choice; but if you are in the mood for great imagery, I would recommend it. highly.

This film is absolutely brilliant. It is a beautifully crafted masterpiece of art. This has been and always will be my all-time favorite when it comes to film and the level of appreciation I have for it is unquantifiable. Its ability to move you on the deepest of emotional levels is unmatched and is perhaps Kubrick's best work.
