About this movie

Holding These Moments is about loving a community so much that you never want to let it go. Seen through the eyes of one of the most popular bands in all of hardcore/punk, the film explores how friendships can transform into family. In early 2016, Dan Elswick embarked to document BANE’s final US tour. After teaming up with editor Ricardo Cozzolino, it turned into so much more.

The film follows the band over their entire lifespan, tracing two decades of connecting with friends and fans on a truly personal level. Viewers will experience deep emotional potency as the tour comes to a close and the band members each say goodbye forever to a life they love.

A wonderful and deep insight into the Hardcore scene's greatest band. Passionate, spirited, in-depth, Honest and True. This could truly be one of the best music documentaries ever made. Never to be judged as a bands greatest hits, an intro to a scene or a belated promo, it's true focus is on the dedication, passion, hard work, blood-sweat-tears and determination of a band. I've never felt so close or immersed into a bands journey through their career in the time I've watched this movie. It really is a wonderful depiction and fantastic watch for any music fan, whether, old school or an aspiring band. Fantastic.
