About this movie

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Avengers Assemble" is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, "Avengers Assemble" brings together the mightiest Super Hero characters as they all assemble together on screen for the first time. © 2012 Walt Disney Pictures

Do not buy this great film if its on a HTC one. The download is fine, a little pricey, but when you go to watch the film it comes up with a message saying there has been an error and to tap the screen to retry. Sometimes you can get the film to start after several taps but if you do then you have to watch it in one go because pausing, fast forwarding and rewinding will all cause the message to come back up and you will have to start from the very beginning. This has been a problem on the HTC one for a while

Fun, silly, with great special effects and a pretty relentless end action sequence. I've watched each of the individual character's films which were mostly awful (Captain America + Thor were utterly awful), but this film definitely did a lot better. It's a visual fest with a few laughs thrown in.

I wish i'd seen the review complaining you can't play via HDMI before I paid the rental. Feel I've been ripped off since the trailer played just fine over HDMI. First time renting online but never again. Back to DVD for me.
