About this movie

Marvel Studios unleashes the next global phenomenon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. Good intentions wreak havoc when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) unwittingly creates Ultron (James Spader), a terrifying A.I. monster who vows to achieve "world peace" via mass extinction. Now, Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) – alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) – must reassemble to defeat Ultron and save mankind…if they can! This action-packed adventure is a mind-blowing blast!

The only thing that was decent in this movie was the Pinocchio reference but that was there mostly for Disney to advertise itself some more. I understand that this is supposed to be a popcorn movie and you are just supposed to switch off and be entertained but it was very cringeworthy to me. From the lack of diversity, the objectification of the few women, the lame jokes, the plot line that doesn't make any sense (even in the superhero world), the pointless action, the same scaffold as every one of their other movies, the overload of plot lines, to the unmemorable soundtrack. This movie might as well have been directed in a few days by Michael Bay. Disney yet again recycles old stuff and milks money from the masses.

Action was fine, but unbalanced against weak characterization, forced romance. Also everyone mumbles. Ignores character growth of Tony Stark in ironman 3. Disappointed in what they did with black widow's character. Villain didn't scare me. He happened too suddenly against fractured story telling. Like an afterthought after the writer was done filling the script with sassy one liners.

Not as good as Avengers 1 but I still had a great time. Ultron is one of my favorite movie villains for his dark twisted view of humanity and the chemistry between the characters is on point. The film lacks when it spends too much time trying to set up future movies but when it's in high gear you're in for a ride
