I watched August rush with great interest and aw. Though it was just a movie, i found myself completely in tune with the subject matter that it was meant to instill. As a child i spent an unusual amount of time of all places in the bathroom reading a dictionary. I am an advid writer to this day but i don't understand where the words come from.

I was honestly surprised to see such a low score on rotten tomatoes because this continues to be one of my favorite movies of all time. If you are a music fanatic and maybe even if you aren't, you will love this movie's amazing and touching story coupled with an amazing musical soundtrack.

Best movie in decades with many things that make good discussion material after the movie, because it is so engaging you won't want to talk during the movie. While you are on the edge of your seat you will laugh and then cry. This movie gave me many hours of pleasure even after it ended. Great to watch with children.
