Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts utterly excel in their deeply complex roles, while a wholly broken family reunite over the loss of a loved one. Serious at one moment, and darkly humorous the next, this did cause some critics issues, but the acting chops from the entire cast shine, and you are completely immersed in this dreary world. Rented in SD, quality is excellent!
