Attack of the Killer Donuts

Attack of the Killer Donuts was a gem that fans of movies such as “Gremlins” and “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” will not want to miss out on! Attack of the Killer Donuts was truly an unlikely film that I just couldn’t get enough of. The film follows two donut shop employees simply trying to make it through their shift, when the donuts become infected with a strange chemical and transform into blood-thirsty monsters! While the plot may seem a bit silly and outlandish at first, Scott Wheeler’s execution of it was perfect! I am glad that I did not pass on watching this film and would definitely recommend any comedy or horror fans to sink their teeth into it.

I gotta say, the theme music in Attack Of The Killer Donuts creates a sweet ambiance all throughout the film. The intro included a melodic tune that captivated me with the mesmerizing donut art. I really enjoyed listening to the original chill song in the beginning scene and how it eventually intensified as the movie progressed with the series of onslaughts on the murderous donuts. If you like vibing to fun music while watching a comical horror, this is the movie for you.

This movie was definitely not what I expected it would be. It pleasantly surprised me once I realized it was more of a comedy than a horror film. Once I realized this, it had me laughing. The cast also surpassed my expectations. I think Kassandra Voyagis is someone we will be seeing more of because she really brought a personality to her character. I would recommend if anyone is looking for a comedy with a dash of horror.
