However, that scene with that supernatural power source they call the Heart of Atlantis, that was the best. The hero and the princess, okay, the secondary characters, meh. I hated the villain Rourke. I didn't like Helga much either, but you gotta give her points during the final battle when Rourke threw her out of the hot air balloon. Even though Helga was just as doomed as Rourke, at least she retaliated in her own way. Like Helga said, "Nothing personal."

My eldest daughter loved this movie when she was smaller and I have seen it probably 50 times. A good movie could survive this (such as Bug's Life", which did). This move did not. It is now known in my house as "Atpantis", on account of it being totally pants.

Glorifies and sexualizes the idea of an old woman marrying a 20 year old man. Kida dresses in what is basically lingerie, is anorexic and is a pervert, falling for a 20 year old man. Milo thinks she's hot because he sees a woman in lingerie and has a creepy old woman fetish. Disgusting, if Milo was a child it would be considered pedophilia.
