A visual masterpiece with some truly outstanding acting. A clear example that the DC Universe can be bright and exciting without needing the overabundance of dark brooding characters found in earlier offerings. Amber Heard was ill-suited for the cast and dragged down some scenes with some poorly delivered dialogue.

It's hard to believe this movie didn't get laughed out of the sell meeting. The hamfisted dialogue, abysmal acting by normally competent actors, ludicrous action scenes under water. Pure drivel.

First half is uneven in tone and extremely corny. Halfway through it appears to embrace the corniness and turns into a fun and humorous adventure, even if it rolls out all the tropes, twists, turns, you'd expect in this type of movie.
