The movie “Apollo 13,” was masterfully directed by Ron Howard and carried out by a brilliant cast, highlighted by both Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton, and Tom Hanks. Apollo 13 replays the events of the devastating explosion that happened upon the craft on April 11, 2017, shaking both the lives of the astronauts and the being of NASA itself. Throughout the film, the watcher will feel as if they too are being flung through space in a small, confined space with a million problems of their own. The movie does a very good job of portraying the stress and emotion of the environments during the trying time, while still showing the ingenuity and professionalism of those partaking in the scientific tragedy. On top of that, the special effects of the movie are outlandishly good, using diving planes and shots of 25 seconds or less throughout the entire movie to simulate the gravity-less vacuum of space. Overall, I was very impressed by the aroma and intensity of the film, creating a stressful environment, despite already knowing the outcome, and I definitely recommend it to any interested watcher.

Film wise this is excellent one of the best space films ever. More so as its a true story! Well made, edited, and directed with some stand out performances. Just don't bother buying digital you can pick up a dvd or blu ray for less with some great added features

Great film, but ruined by Google because the audio seemed to play as mono through the centre speaker only. This was the HD version. Unacceptable in my book. The blue ray is 5.1.
