Antebellum

Ive read some bad reviews but i watched this at the cinema and i rented it for my hubbie. Picked up things the second time and ended up watching it a 3rd time so hubbie could see the things i picked up on. I enjoyed it and don't know why the bad reviews

Powerful and moving, despite some plot holes. Beautifully directed throughout. As for the "this is Black racism" claims, if the film was about the original Nazi party, would it be "racist" to have all the SS troopers acting like racists? No it would be accurate, as is this film in depicting a certain kind of sadly all too real American bigot.

Should be retitled As Woke As It Gets. Or Us Part 2: Elephants.
