About this movie

Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten year- old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

This movie was deliciously scary for the most part. It was great to get a peek into some of the other beasties and ghosties that the Warrens purportedly dealt with. Acting didn't blow my hair back but neither did it distract from the story line. Good fun time if you want a scare without having to think too much.

I quite liked this. Was better than i expected. One of the better horror films that i have seen in recent times. I watched it home alone with all the lights off with surround sound turned up loud. Pretty atmospheric and had some creepy moments and jump scares. Good acting. Didn't feel slow n boring or drag.

Bit of a letdown. Cliches, stilted acting, and an accelerated timeline to make the logic work. Still some good scares, and an interesting take on the franchise.
