Actually, I'd rate it a 3.5, but I couldn't give it a 4. "An American in Paris" is good. The songs are nice, the dancing is incredible, and even the settings (real & unreal) are a feast for the eyes. I just have two problems with the film. While the love story is ok, it just seems to move from repulsion to love a bit too quickly for one character (don't argue "love-at-first-sight", I don't buy it). And the WTH, last ~20-25 minutes of this movie that's a huge interpretive dance number... 🤷‍♂️?
