This came out about the same time as "blood in , blood out" Very similar in my eyes .. Although my personal thoughts are "blood in,blood out" was the better movie .. Non the less this movie is well worth the watch ..

This is great movie and has lots of prison violence very powerful

Mexicans growing up in prison from juvenile detention to the the real prison. Violence throughout the film.
