Sadly, nostalgia is not an interesting form of cinema to me and that is what this film is both in its original form and in its ageless form. If you are of the years of Dazed & Confused's cinematic release then you have seen American Graffiti without seeing it because Dazed & Confused is most certainly a sequel to American Graffiti and is neither better nor worse than it. If American Graffiti, or for that matter Dazed & Confused, pops up as a recommendation for you based on your search for Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead I can only hope that you are not as disappointed in the referent as I.

Great Movie, BUT..... This movie had two purchase options, SD and HD. The HD option was three dollars more. I have no interest in the SD option, so I bought the HD option. Upon viewing the first half a minute of the movie I discovered that the highest quality option available was 480p. For me this was an utter waste of money. Next time, I buy the Blu-Ray. Especially since I've yet to receive any answer to my inquiry of the matter.

A rite of passage during simpler times. That last summer after high school graduation. Sound track is the best if you're a fan of the 50s. Well written, nostalgia plus! Epic cast...Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, Richard Dreyfus, Bo Hopkins, Harrison Ford, and on and on...
