American Gospel: Christ Alone

First off, well made and very nice work. However it is way too long. My wife and I both agreed this should have been a bible study or split into different episodes, mainly because it looses focus and ends up spending way too much time beating up three or four individual people. I teach film on the college level and appreciate the editing and great camera work. The message is very biased towards a Calvinist bent, so be ready for that. But very well made and eye opening stories of other believers.

The Truth Will Make You Free 31 So Jesus was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. 32 And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and the truth will set you free [from the penalty of sin].” John 8:31-32

I agree with those who say this is too long. It does get redundant. However, its formulaic presentation offers a lot of clear thinking on how to present the Gospel to those unaware. For that I have to give it 5 stars. While I found nothing new in the presentation, it offers up a sort of thoughtfulness that a viewer can then extend by themselves to others. A must watch for all Christians.
