Meh... The visuals were fantastic. Awesome setting. But that's about it, though. Rosa Salazar did a decent job of convincing me that she's a highly emotional teen cyborg with the help of great CGI. This one would've been better off if it were a series instead of a movie. The story and the very flat characters deserve just half a star. For people who enjoy overpowered YA protagonists who actually willing to change the status quo. Caution: There might be a sequel.

Fantastic and wholesome. To the ignorant reviewer calling it a ripoff of elysium, Alita was originally a manga published in 1990. The world seen in elysium was already shown in the manga. So in fact elysium took the concept of battle angel manga. Elysium is the one that ripped off the sky and earth city concept. And you cannot fly to zalem even though it's a futuristic world as flying vehicles are outlawed and their ownership and use is punishable by death. Flying vehicles will be shot down.
