Predictable story you can see coming a mile away. It foreshadows clumsily & expects the viewer to be surprised when it reveals a layer. Terrible special effects! No clue why ppl think it's so revolutionary especially when it seems like a poor mix of live action and anime. You can see hints of great filmmakers behind the camera but weak source material & nasty sfx ruin it.

What a fun well shot action adventure. The story isn't the best thing you've ever seen, but it more than makes up for it in its delivery. The acting ranges from good to great with the star of the film being the top contender. The action is directed so well you're never confused as to what's going on. What impressed me most is that the CG is so heavy but blended really well so it wasn't distracting.

Expected a lot more from this start studded cast. A boring forced romance. Things just working out, and pieces falling together. A so called all seeing enemy who is constantly chasing things he didn't know about. Everything about makes it seem like it's for kids... children. Except for the mutilation and decapitation. But as an adult... I found it boring and flashy.
